light and shade

last thursday, we finaly had our once a year team building. we left during lunch and took the cab seaside metrowalk. we ordered a kilo of every seafood we want to eat. it was my first dampa experience and i was quite satisfied and we were free to eat with our hands. after that we headed back to eastwood and had coffee at starbucks. we also saw the pratts siblings at coffee bean and tea leaf. finally to end the day, we played bowling and billiards.

i sacrificed being late for the pyroolympics for bowling and billiards. how many times do i get to play with my team mates?

i left them during billiards to catch up with the fireworks but so much happened. major disappointment, didnt get to see the fireworks on closeup. we wasted time waiting for the cab for an hour! i got lucky on flagging down a cab but it rejected us after learning we're going to macapagal rd. the success rate of flagging a cab is 1:100 so we finally gave up and waited for ate fely instead. the way home we had to suffer crawling along macapagal road still hoping to meet the herans in spike but we finally gave up the idea. the spike guys wanted to go to pier1, and we have already passed it and the parking at northpark was already full.

it would have been a perfect day catching up with the pyrolympics. but that day was just a perfect example of a perfect balance.
