in the ferry nothing so great, no sight to see but the sea. thankfully the sea was calm and it was not rainy. it did drizzle a bit. we watched a presentation about corregidor on a small tv. we were also given a compressed but detailed history of corregidor. the old historian knew everything from approximate figures to exact dates. he spoke like he knew everything from the book but delivered them with such spontaneity. amazing that there were also japanese tourists in the boat even if in history, the japanese partook in its conquering. amazing that they were not in denial and that they even were interested to see and learn corregidor's history.
the ferry was simple and clean. it had vinyl tiles and seats similar to the bus. it smells terribly of crude that i holding a hanky in my nose all throughout. nothing really great but it reminded me of the same feeling when i rode the ferry to macau when i was 7 or 8 yrs old.
Monday is the best day to start the week.
